Especially Isabel was a little bit disappointed that she didn’t play the weekend with Lotte. And when we were saying goodbye Lotte by the train station. She was mad about me that she could not go with Lotte!
After saying goodbye we went to the playground and the girls were only playing by the small river. After that we went back home and said goodbye to Aleksandra. She has to leave home till Wednesday for work.
After their sleep we went to a store to buy a Motherday’s card. It took 10 minutes to find the right one. With or without music? With or without button? Etc. They picked a really nice one.
I think I will change the way of writing after this blog. Not about the full days but just about things that happened that week or funny things I noticed.
And that means maybe not every week a blog but maybe 1 in the 2 weeks.
Tuesday we started the day easily and we played together with all kind of games and toys. So that morning we found out a new ‘game’. I’m singing ‘old mcdonald had a farm’. Picking an animal which I like and they have to find in that time the same cuddle! They were having so much fun.
Wednesday was a very cloudy and rainy day… The girls were late in bed last night so they were sleeping a little longer. The morning we did some activities out of their playbooks they have over here. With Angela I did some math lessons and with Isabel we did practice to wright some letters. They both enjoyed. But Isabel is still having a hard time when I really want to have time for Angela only. So she have to get used by that part.
At Thursday we had our last Library activity… The girls made some nice paintings for the teacher and she loved it! They did a great job both by the activity. They helped for example the teacher with folding a ‘flap’ every page in the book. Really nice! The next classes are starting 17th of June so we have to wait for a while and that’s also during my last week in here. At the other side that’s nice because Marloes will be here at the 16th so we can go together!
Both of the girls are really practicing their Dutch language. Isabel is speaking the whole day if I’m around and Angela is having conversations with me as well in Dutch. Now she is speaking more immediately trough me instead of Isabel. Isabel is having (of course….) issues with saying words in the past and future. So from now on I’m more strict and I’m saying immediately the words in the right way. She is repeating me and doing good. Sometimes she is really confused about some words. Sometimes she is speaking a word in half Dutch/half Macedonia and sometimes not real
